Youth @ EBC
The Youth @ EBC consists of 7th-12th grade students who exist to worship God, grow together and share Jesus.
We accomplish this through many different means.
We meet on a regular weekly basis to study Scripture and learn from each other what it means to live our lives for God.
Sunday School meets @ 9:45. We currently meet in two classes: 7th-9th and 10th-12th.
Sunday Night Bible Study meets @ 6:00.
Wednesday Night Bible Study meets @ 7:00. During this time we study different books of the Bible in order to know God's Word and be able to practice studying it together as a group. In the past we have studied Genesis, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Daniel, Jonah, Habakkuk, Malachi, John, Galatians, Philippians, Colossians, Hebrews, James, Revelation, and other studies as well.
We also participate in many different projects during the year to serve our local community.
Each summer we go on a mission trip. In 2011 we will be going to New York City with the PowerPlant ministry of the NAMB. Through PowerPlant we will be teamed up with a church planter and serve beside the church doing projects such as VBS, sports camps, neighborhood outreach, or gospel distribution. By working alongside a church planting team, we can learn how the church should be salt and light in the community.
