Youth @ EBC
The Youth @ EBC consists of 7th-12th grade students who exist to worship God, grow together and share Jesus.
We accomplish this through many different means.
We meet on a regular weekly basis to study Scripture and learn from each other what it means to live our lives for God.
Sunday School meets @ 9:45. Currently we are going through the Fuel 2 video study. During this study, students will encounter the major doctrines (teachings) of the Bible and discuss them as we learn together Who God is and what He has planned for us.
Sunday Night Bible Study meets @ 6:00. Here we attend GPS (Growing Points for Servants) with the adults in Sept-Oct, Jan-Feb, and Apr-May. These are times where we learn what it means to be a follower of Jesus and how we can live for Him to impact our world. In between the GPS sessions, we take a closer look at the different topics covered in GPS and apply them specifically to life as a student.
Wednesday Night Bible Study meets @ 7:00. During this time we study different books of the Bible in order to know God's Word and be able to practice studying it together as a group. In the past we have studied Genesis, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Daniel, Jonah, Habakkuk, Malachi, John, Galatians, Philippians, Colossians, James, Revelation, and other studies as well. Currently we are studying Hebrews and learning about Christ from an Old Testament perspective.
We also participate in many different projects during the year to serve our local community.
Each summer we go on a World Changers mission trip. During these trips we get to help repair people's homes in order to share the love of Jesus in a practical way. This also opens up opportunities to share the gospel with the home owner and the surrounding neighborhood.
